Film Night Friday 25th September 2026, 7pm start
Join us for a screening of 'Far From the Madding Crowd', the 2015 version PG12A. Partly filmed in Sherborne, Mapperton House and the nearby Horton Tower. Thomas Hardy's classic tale is brought to life by Carey Mulligan, Matthias Schoenaerts,Tom Sturridge and Michael Sheen.
Doors open 7 pm for 7.30 pm start. £5 entry, payable on the door

An ideal space for meetings, social gatherings, exercise groups, healthcare, sports or youth clubs. The room can be set out as desired with large or small tables and comfortable cushioned chairs.
Our hall offers full access to WiFi, we have a well equipped kitchen, projector, hearing loop, disabled access and toilets.
Available for private hire by the hour at reasonable rates e.g. parties, clubs, activities, weddings. Can accommodate up to 80 people
